Founder/Managing Broker

Chris Grout is the founder and Managing Broker of Venture Realty Corp. With a background in sales, marketing strategy, and project management, Chris has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and skilled negotiator. He led the development of Mission Villas, an innovative 51-unit seniors’ housing project, where he played an integral role in planning, project management, marketing, sales, finance, and community services. Through this experience he created Venture Realty to offer a unique corporate and collaborative brokerage model.

In addition to his work in real estate, Chris is also the founder and managing partner of Argent Diversified Holdings, an investment fund based in Kelowna. Argent focuses on equity investments in small to medium-sized Canadian businesses, offering alternative investment structures and financing solutions. Chris and his team at Argent actively manage and consult for their portfolio businesses, helping them unlock their potential. His hands-on approach with business owners provides strategic leadership and expertise to help companies scale and achieve long-term success.

Outside of work, Chris has dedicated significant time to the Kelowna Volleyball Club (KVC), where he currently serves as President. In this role, he has overseen the operations of the not-for-profit organization, ensuring its longevity while fostering a strong sense of community. Chris is also a coach for KVC, where he works directly with young athletes, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential. In addition, Chris values family, community, and the Okanagan lifestyle. He enjoys spending time both in the Okanagan and travelling with his wife, two daughters and son.
