Ashley joined Venture Commercial in 2022, with nearly a decade of experience in commercial real estate. After obtaining a degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia, Ashley left her hometown of Kelowna, BC, and moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where she began her career in the industry with a mid-sized commercial developer (Cameron Developments). After moving back home to Kelowna in fall 2016, Ashley joined Colliers International as a client project coordinator while she studied to obtain her real estate license. Once licensed, Ashley worked as a broker at Colliers, specializing in commercial leasing. Seeing an opportunity to diversify her experience, Ashley joined Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop at their head office and MKK Property Corp., where she had multiple roles in leasing, development and operations.
Ashley’s expertise in documentation, combined with her exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, has consistently set her apart as an invaluable asset to our company. Over the past year, Ashley has demonstrated remarkable professional growth, taking on increased responsibility and leadership within the company. As a result of her dedication, proven capability, and deep understanding of brokerage operations, Ashley has officially transitioned from her role as Executive Assistant into her new position as Managing Broker. We are confident in Ashley’s ability to lead with integrity, professionalism and commitment to excellence, and we are excited for the continued positive impact she will have in this role.
Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends while living a healthy and active lifestyle. You can catch her training regularly at REC Fitness and SPINCO, practicing yoga at Pranify, hiking up Knox Mountain with her dog Suzy, and, depending on the season, paddleboarding, golfing and snowboarding. She has also recently been enjoying taking frequent road trips to her “happy place” on Salt Spring Island.
